Photomart supplies and distributes photographic equipment and consumables, based in the United Kingdom.
2. When was Photomart founded?
"Photomart" represents the official trading name of Wincastle Ltd., a private limited company incorporated in June 1992.
Orders & Payments
1. Do I need to create an account when placing an order?
You may "Checkout as Guest" when prompted or you may register for an account to use for future orders with several benefits such as order history and status updates.
2. How can I place an order on the website?
Use the "Add to Cart" button (when available) whilst browsing products on the website and complete the required checkout steps as prompted.
3. What is the minimum order amount?
Photomart operates as a wholesaler and has set the minimum sales order to £50 ex. VAT.
4. How can I check the status of my order?
You may check the status of your order at any time by logging into your account online and viewing your active orders under "My Orders".
5. Can I place an order over the phone?
Photomart allows orders over the phone but strongly recommends that they get placed online for faster processing times. However, should you experience any difficulties when ordering online, our sales team will gladly assist in preparing and finalising your order over the phone.
Prices & Taxes
1. Are your web prices exclusive of VAT?
Photomart displays all prices on the website without VAT.
2. When is Value Added Tax (VAT) applied to my order?
VAT will get applied to your order (at the current market rate) as you add products to your shopping cart in the "Grand Total" box.
3. Are there any other taxes or hidden fees?
Photomart does not apply any additional surcharges to your order other than VAT applied to both products and shipping costs.
4. How can I pay for my order?
You may pay for your order directly on the website via the "Checkout" page.
5. How do I use a promotional code?
Apply any coupons or promotional codes you may have in the "Shopping Cart" page and allow the "Grand Total" box to reflect the change before paying for your order via the "Checkout" page.
Shipping & Deliveries
1. How can I find out my shipping costs?
In the "Shopping Cart" you will find an "Estimate Shipping & Tax" tool to calculate your approximate shipping costs before we confirm the final order.
2. What locations can you deliver to?
Photomart can deliver throughout the UK mainland and also internationally. However, some products may require custom quotation when shipped overseas due to their size. For further information, visit the shipping & delivery section of our What Do You Need To Know page.
3. What is the minimum amount for free delivery?
Photomart delivers to the UK mainland free of charge when you place an order of at least £150 excluding VAT. However, international orders (outside of the UK) do not qualify for free delivery.
4. Can I change my delivery address after my order has been placed?
When you place an order with Photomart we take every care to ensure that your product(s) get delivered to the address specified at the time of order. Unfortunately we cannot change the delivery address once your order gets processed for shipping.
5. How long does delivery take?
Orders placed (for UK delivery) before 5:30pm ensures a prompt same-day dispatch and your order will get delivered within one to four working days on average.
6. What happens if I am not available to collect when the delivery is attempted?
Depending on the carrier, the delivery driver will normally leave a calling card and will attempt re-delivery the following working day.
