The professionals' choice

GIBB SP heat presses offer the best solution in terms of functionality and performance that money can buy except for around half the price you would normally expect to pay for a swing-away heat press of such superior quality and innovation.

Swing-away design

•   Inherent in their design, swing-away heat presses deliver greater pressure that is also distributed more uniformly across the platen.

•   Swing-away presses are suited for a wider range of items including everything you can do with a clamshell press but also thicker sized items e.g. plaques, slates, tiles, crystal, stalinite panels etc.

•   On a swing away press the platen literally swings out of the way providing full unhindered access to the workspace. This means not having to work directly underneath the hot platen thus also making it safer and more comfortable to operate.

Threadable

GIBB SP swing-away heat presses are threadable from the front with ample drape space underneath the base and thus perfectly suitable for also bulkier garments.

Sliding base

If space is a problem the GIBB SP60-ATS also features a sliding base so you don't have to move the upper platen out of the way.

High watt density

It's a known fact that cast-in tubular heating elements are better at heat retention, more efficient at conducting heat evenly across a metal platen plus they are more reliable. This is why the heating platens on all GIBB heat presses not only heat up quicker but also offer higher watt density with heat variances as low as between 0 and 2.5%!

Teflon-coated

Teflon is the stuff they use to coat non-stick cooking pans. Teflon coated platens are therefore not only easier to clean off blow out stains but also require no additional teflon sheets to prevent transfer materials from sticking to the upper platen.

Colour LCD with touch pad interface and on-screen icons

The cleverly designed readout and on-screen icons of the IT9300 controller makes GIBB heat presses extremely intuitive and easy to operate. The luxurious touch pad interface allows the user to enter the desired time and temperature settings quickly and accurately.

High quality construction

Metal components are all precision laser cut, cleaned in a phosphoric acid bath, treated to prevent oxidation (rust) and then coated with a baked-on rust and scratch resistant powder coating for a durable textured finish.
