1. Minimum order amount (£50 ex. VAT)

Photomart’s logistical infrastructure is set up for “B2B”, which means we are typically a “Business to Business” supplier, we specialize in supplying to various photo retailers, professional photographers, government etc. It also means that we tend to supply in bulk. We therefore DO NOT accept orders that are under a certain monetary value. The minimum order value for ordering from Photomart is £50 +VAT. Please note, above minimum order values apply regardless of the method of ordering.

  • Standard deliveries are scheduled for delivery the following business day.
  • Priority deliveries are scheduled for delivery the following day (except Sundays) before 10am or noon and are subject to a premium delivery rate.
  • Orders received on Fridays will usually be delivered the following business day, on Monday, is you select a Standard Shipping Method. For a Priority Delivery, to receive the goods next day, on Saturday, you can choose those options as well.
  • An Insurance Surcharge is applied to deliveries of specified delicate and high value items (e.g. Printers, Studio Equipment etc.) and is added to the shipping cost, in case one of your shopping cart products is considered to be a high valuable one. Usually, it is displayed in brackets, under Estimated Shipping and Tax Calculator, from Shopping Cart page, after you complete your delivery address.

  • We deliver to BFPO addresses anywhere in the world. Please note that delivery charges may vary depending on weight and size restrictions for specific locations. Delivery times will also vary.
  • Remote areas in particular Scottish Highlands and other post codes are often difficult to reach. There are no next day, before noon or Saturday delivery available options for these regions. Standard delivery charges will apply.
  • An Insurance Surcharge is applied to deliveries of specified delicate and high value items (e.g. Printers, Studio Equipment etc.) and is added to the shipping cost, in case one of your shopping cart products is considered to be a high valuable one. Usually, it is displayed in brackets, under Estimated Shipping and Tax Calculator, from Shopping Cart page, after you complete your delivery address.

 

4. Parcel Tariffs to Ireland, Northern Ireland and UK priority deliveries

If you are based in Ireland, Northern Ireland or are a UK mainland resident and have specified you would like a Priority delivery, the delivery charges for your order will be calculated on the basis of “cost per parcel” (the estimated cost is calculated in Shopping Cart Area or is displayed in Step 4 from Checkout Page).

The web store will calculate the charges of your cost up to 94.5kgs for United Kingdom and 70kgs for International Shipping. If your order will weight more than these limits, it might be subject to an additional charge, apart of Come and Collect from Warehouse by using your own Shipper or you will be subject to Free Delivery within UK.

  • You will ALWAYS be notified prior to any charges being adjusted after placing an Order (if applicable) and Photomart will NEVER deduct any payments from your account or credit card without your authorization. Please ensure that you always provide us with correct and up to date contact information, when needed.
  • We strongly recommend to place the orders via website for faster processing times. However, should you experience any difficulties when ordering online, our sales team will gladly assist in preparing and finalizing your order over the phone.

 

5. Deliveries to Europe (including Gibraltar) and the rest of the world

Photomart can deliver to ALL COUNTRIES across the world. Delivery tariffs are usually based on weight and/or volumetric weight. For destinations outside Europe, Custom Clearance Charges and other landed costs are applied and also included in shipping cost automatically for those specific countries.

6. Estimated time for deliveries

  • Orders received before 4:30 pm are always processed and dispatched on the same day.
  • Standard deliveries to the UK mainland (excluding remote regions of Northern Scotland) are delivered the following working day.
  • Deliveries to UK destinations are usually made between the hours of 8:00am and 6:00pm.
  • Priority deliveries can be scheduled for next day delivery before 10am or noon to UK mainland destinations at a premium delivery rate (excludes remote regions of Northern Scotland). For Standard rates please see this table. For more details please check Shipping & Tax Calculator.
  • Saturday deliveries can be scheduled to UK mainland destinations at a premium delivery rate before 10am, before noon or before 5pm (excludes remote regions of Northern Scotland).
  • Orders received after 4:30 pm will only be processed & dispatched the following working day.
  • Delivery lead times to Europe and International destinations are always shown in Shipping & Tax Calculator and also in Step 4 from Checkout Page.
  • Every attempt will always be made to make deliveries on time. On rare occasions however, delays may occur as a result of unforeseen circumstances (road closure, extreme weather, traffic congestion, breakdown etc.) and delivery times therefore cannot be 100% guaranteed.

 

7. Signature

  • All deliveries must be signed for.
  • In the event that a signature cannot be obtained, depending on the carrier, the delivery driver will leave a calling card and attempt delivery again the following day.
  • Usually a maximum of three attempts will be made to make delivery.
  • Alternatively, arrangements can also be made to collect the goods from the carrier’s local depot. Do not hesitate to contact us, in case of any help needed.

 

8. What if there is a problem or delay with my delivery?

  • When we become aware of any delays, we will attempt to contact you to advise you on the best course of action. Please ensure that you always have your latest details saved in your online account details (under My Account / Account Information section).
  • If you have not received your order before 4:00 pm on the day of delivery you can use the tracking order number (sent via email, after dispatching and delivering the items) to determine the status of your delivery. Alternatively please feel free to contact us.

9. VAT Exemption

  • All orders that are dispatched to destinations outside the European Union with a registered shipping agent are automatically exempt from VAT.
  • If you are a VAT registered company based within the economic boundaries of the European Union or any other UK region that may be exempt from UK VAT, then please enter your company’s valid VAT registration number in the VAT registration number field when submitting your order online to have the VAT charges removed from your invoice.
  • If ordering by Telephone, Fax or Email, please state that you are exempt from paying UK VAT and provide your company’s valid VAT registration number.
  • Orders to BFPO addresses may also be exempt from UK VAT. The Tax will be automatically removed from Shopping Cart once the shipping address is updated accordingly.
  • All other UK purchases are subject to VAT (including purchases intended for export or intended for export at a later stage). Customers who wish to make a purchase in the UK for later export can obtain the required VAT claim forms from one of our export consultants. They will fill out the forms with you to ensure it is done correctly, you will need to provide evidence that you are eligible to claim (such as a passport) and your account details. These forms must be submitted at the UK port of departure.
    Please note: VAT refunds must be authorised by the UK Revenue and Customs Service before Photomart can make a refund. We charge a 15% handling fee for managing this process and your claim will be paid back into your account, not to your card. This will take a minimum of seven working days after we have received authorisation.

  • Please note, that submitted VAT details will always be validated and totals adjusted accordingly. You will ALWAYS be notified prior to any changes being made to your invoice.   • We also use Parcelforce and Barker & Hood for consignments to destinations outside the UK.
  • Our State-of-the-Art warehousing facilities and highly skilled operators further add to ensure your goods arrive safely.
